About the Role:
Based in our Ferrero Luxembourg HQ, you will report to the Global Head of Security Operations and oversee all aspects of Physical Asset Security and the related Food Defense program's part, ensuring the highest standards of protection and compliance across the company’s operations.
You will work closely with local Ferrero entities and collaborate with Group Security and Group Quality to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to security.
Main Responsibilities:
Thanks to your expertise, you will further develop and enhance the Global Physical Security Platform and Group standards across all Ferrero premises.
This includes designing and implementing physical security solutions and related procedures (where and when necessary), ensuring compliance with global best practices, and updating standards to address emerging threats and technological advancements.
You will also coordinate with Regional Security Managers and security partners to ensure seamless integration and alignment with the company’s security objectives.
Moreover, your technological knowledge and skills on physical security systems will be key to support the correct design and implementation of the regional physical security initiatives and ensure they comply with Group Standards.
You will support HR and People Security by integrating security systems with global time attendance solutions.
On top of that, you will maintain risk and performance metrics according to group guidelines and support incident analysis and internal investigations.
You will also support the implementation of Ferrero’s Food Defense programs in coordination with Supply Chain Security, ensuring compliance with international standards.
You will advise on the development of Food Defense, focusing on both preventive measures and mitigation strategies in case of incidents, implement security-related mitigation strategies, and assist in audits by providing guidance on emerging security issues.
Finally, you will also contribute to expanding the security culture within the organization by promoting awareness and understanding of security protocols, providing training programs, and fostering a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.
Who we are looking for:
You will bring your educational background in Law, Criminology, or International Relations with proven Military and/or Police experience. Ideally, you hold relevant certifications, such as ASIS: Physical Security Professional (PSP®), ISMI: Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP®) Level 6, or ACPI: Certified CPTED Specialist with strong knowledge of the Lenel platform.
You will leverage your 10 years of experience in a Consulate/Embassy or other intergovernmental organization.
Moreover, you demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adaptability, essential for managing relationships across diverse regions. You possess emotional intelligence to handle high-stakes situations calmly and effectively, and resilience to manage challenging or high-pressure circumstances.
You bring strategic thinking and critical analysis skills to proactively assess and address risks and security issues.
This role requires you to have problem-solving and people management skills, including budget management, conflict resolution, communication, and decision-making abilities. Additionally, your influence and negotiation skills will be invaluable for aligning stakeholders and gaining support in security-related matters.
On top of that, for business purposes, you may be requested to travel within or outside of our HQ for short-term assignments.
Finally, you are fluent in English.
