INTERNSHIP Paper Junior Procurement Buyer (Starting from September)
About the Role:
At our Luxembourg HQ, you will join the Packaging Procurement team in the Paper category as an intern and help shape how we source corrugated packaging materials.
Main Responsibilities:
You will assess price quotation templates for corrugated packaging suppliers, check data consistency, and make sure key details are complete and comparable. You will prepare clear request-for-quotation files, run quotation rounds with suppliers, and organize the inputs so your team can review options with confidence and speed.
Moreover, you will build a simple market reference for paper and corrugated materials by gathering benchmarks, comparing incumbent offers, and documenting assumptions used in each quotation cycle. You will connect supplier feedback to your analysis, highlight gaps or questions, and share insights that help the team steer discussions with facts.
Finally, you will review single-sourced situations, update the sourcing resilience file, and check new material codes to understand where risk may sit. You will identify codes that need attention, propose de-risking actions, and follow up with internal partners and suppliers so you can tell a clear story of progress.
About You:
To be eligible for the internship, you must be enrolled in an educational institution, or the internship must start and end within 12 months after your last school enrolment period. In addition, you must already hold EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Luxembourg which is valid at least until the end of February 2027.
You will bring your educational background in Economics or Business Analytics, and you can explain how your studies or projects helped you turn numbers into practical business decisions.
You can work in Excel with confidence, and you use VLOOKUP and IF functions to structure data, compare quotations, and build simple analyses that support procurement conversations.
You communicate in fluent English, and you collaborate with others to solve problems. You can work with internal contacts and suppliers, and you ask clear questions that move work forward.
