About the Role:

We are looking for İstanbul based Senior Category Development Manager to directly reporting to Region Türkiye Trade Marketing Manager. The responsibilities and the qualifications are mentioned below.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the strategic management of Trade Marketing, aiming at maximizing sales and profit by satisfying consumer needs,
  • Help to develop effective medium- and long-term local strategies in line with Ferrero Group Marketing guidelines,
  • Shape channel & customer differentiation agenda with the guidance of shopper typologies, shopper insights and missions,
  • Implement appropriate Category/Channel/Shopper development actions in conjunction with the trade at the point of sale, 
  • Work with Marketing function and implement new promotional activities and display, on the basis of the needs collected by the Trade Channels,
  • Define the placement guidelines for shelf, checkouts and second placement,
  • Monitor and analyses category/channel, competition and consumer/shopper market data in order to provide base for the business opportunities,
  • Contribute in the definition of promotional or marketing projects for the category,
  • Work with customers and within channels to develop appropriate, shopper centric activities.
  • Propose the sales volume budget per category/channel paying particular attention to the profitability of the category/channel,
  • Limited responsibility of trade promo budget and controls trade promo budgets,
  • Analyze assortment price evolution, responsible for pricing lists and lead price increase processes, getting the necessary approvals from local stakeholders, 
  • Accountable for managing people assigned, ensuring a management system based on Group values, motivation, competence development and empowerment
     

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree,
  • Preferably 8-10 years of experience in FMCG
  • Preferably 3-4 years of experience in Sales
  • Decision making, problem solving ability and strategic thinking
  • Good planning and communication skills
  • Good analytical & financial skills
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills
  • Fluency in Turkish & English
