About the Role:
- Assuring the purchasing of technical materials and services, providing the best conditions in terms of price, quality, delivery and sustainability in accordance with centrally defined guidelines
- Assuring Request for Proposal issuance and Purchasing Request management
Main Responsibilities:
- Applies and implements purchasing policies, vendor management and developing policies, based on technical, organizational, economical and international financial knowledge, to reach the best possible results, both under technical, economical and service level perspective, according to Group requirements in terms of timing and flexibility.
- Choose the vendors for the assigned area, defining related contracts, according to requirements defined in the technical documentation, in order to meet technical needs, by optimizing costs, maximizing quality and service level.
- Assures a proper analysis, evaluation and negotiation of offers received in order to meet technical needs, by optimizing global costs, within given quality/quantity and timing requirements.
- Cooperates with technicians for the definition of materials to be purchased and used in technical projects within the assigned area.
- Given the Purchasing Orders received, looks for Request for Proposals from vendors, proposing qualified and suitable alternatives; analyzes, aligns and evaluates offers received (together with technicians), in order to select the best available alternatives, to meet project related deadlines, assuring the maintenance of a best quality level.
- Assures the internal customer satisfaction for purchases related to the technical and production area, in order to maximize purchasing service level provided.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or above, engineering or economic background
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement area. Previous experience in food/FMCG industry sector is considered as a plus
- Fluent English both oral and written
