About the Role:
The mission of this position is to define and direct the strategic plan of communication, public relations and institutional relations for the countries of the Southern Cone Region (Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay) & Chile in order to provide the necessary reputational and technical elements that position the company in the main axis of conversation of the issues that may affect the sector and therefore the business within the Region. In addition, to be responsible for the strategic management of the high-level relationship with local authorities, ensuring the maintenance of the business and protecting the license to operate our products and our profitability.
Main Responsibilities:
- Represent Ferrero Argentina in terms of Institutional Relations: establishing links with governmental and legislative authorities; liaising with authorities, diplomatic bodies, business chambers, industry associations, academia and civil society organizations; analyzing and monitoring the institutional environment and the progress of discussions, policies and legislation on issues of interest; establishing alliances with strategic public and private partners; and monitoring and following up on legislative initiatives as well as public policies and regulations related to the food industry at local and international level.
- Design, implement and follow up on the company's corporate communication strategy (management of possible communication crises, contact with the media network, internal customer support in terms of communications, press releases and press releases and responses to social networks, and media and social network monitoring and reporting).
- Develop and carry out events and activities aimed at enhancing the group's corporate image and disseminating its values and commitments, manage the annual report, conduct relations with local communities and authorities, and manage the company's donations.
- Plan and execute the company's public relations agenda before Chambers of Commerce, representing the company before external interlocutors and institutions, promoting opportunities for public events, seminars and conferences, and designing and developing PR campaigns.
- Prepare the area's budget, monitoring its execution and preparing reports on actions/new developments in the area and its spheres of influence.
Who we are looking for:
- Professional in Public Relations and/or International Business, preferably with a specialization or Master's degree in communication or government relations. Open to other backgrounds.
- Minimum experience of 10 - 12 years in similar positions.
- Knowledge of languages: mandatory English, Portuguese and Italian (preferred).
- Corporate Social Responsibility policies.

- Legislation and Regulation in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile.
- Legislative and regulatory initiatives in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile.
