Supply Chain Specialist
About the Role:
For our Ferrero Croatia business unit based in Zagreb, we are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist who will ensure smooth and efficient execution of customer orders, stock management, and transportation processes. Working closely with Sales, Production, and our factories, you will translate planning needs into reliable end‑to‑end operations. In this role, you will manage weekly and monthly orders and forecasts with accuracy, act as the key link between Sales and factory teams and align order flows with stock levels and production capacities. You will plan deliveries based on real‑time demand, oversee transport tracking to secure visibility and timely performance, and proactively resolve issues. Additionally, you will prepare production requests, provide clear supply chain reports for management, and support essential administrative activities that keep daily operations running smoothly.
Main Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be at the heart of ensuring smooth order fulfilment, optimal stock levels, strong collaboration between sales, production and factories; and effective management of transportation processes, all while continuously improving our end-to-end operations in a fast-paced international environment.
You will be responsible for processing, verifying and following up on weekly and monthly orders and forecasts, ensuring that all information is accurately entered into the system and delivered within established deadlines. A key part of your work will involve maintaining close daily communication with our Sales team and factories to monitor order progress, identify potential deviations, and ensure full alignment with stock levels and forecasted demand.
You will coordinate the preparation of deliveries based on actual customer orders and current factory inventory, securing timely and efficient distribution of goods. You will also manage the and improve the transport tracking process to ensure real time visibility, proactive issue resolution, accurate status updates and optimization of shipment monitoring.
When additional quantities are required, you will initiate and manage production requests, acting as a link between internal teams and production facilities. Your responsibilities will also include preparing regular reports for management, providing insights that support decision‑making and operational planning.
Skills needed:
You bring a strong academic foundation, ideally supported by a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline. Your background should includes at least two years of hands‑on experience in sales support, demand or supply planning, supply chain coordination, logistics tracking, or a similar operational role, giving you a solid understanding of complex operational processes. You communicate confidently in English at a C1 level, while knowledge of Italian represents a valuable advantage. You navigate digital tools with ease, demonstrating advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, while experience with SAP, particularly FE3 and APO/BW modules, is considered a strong plus.
You are an analytical, proactive, and solutions‑oriented professional with a high level of self‑motivation and a positive, collaborative mindset. Your approach is grounded in structured problem‑solving, supported by strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams. You thrive in dynamic environments, demonstrating strong organizational capabilities and the capacity to manage multiple information sources and priorities simultaneously. With a continuous improvement attitude, you actively seek opportunities to optimize processes, prevent issues, and enhance operational efficiency.
Experience working in an international environment and/or within the FMCG sector is highly advantageous. These strengths will enable you to navigate cross‑functional workflows, contribute to process improvements, and support the smooth flow of operations with confidence and professionalism.
