About the Role:

As our production site in Alfreton continues on its exciting journey of integration with the wider Ferrero business following the acquisition from Thorntons PLC,  we have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious yet accomplished HR professional to join us.
This role offers an exceptional opportunity to develop your career within a global organisation at a really exciting time. You will be a critical member of the team delivering a number of key people related projects as well as having full responsibility for all HR matters including;

Main Responsibilities:
  • Partnering departmental managers in all people matters in order to effectively support the Alfreton sites’ overall business targets
  • Effectively lead, manage and develop a small HR team to ensure key people KPI’s are achieved
  • In conjunction with the Head of HR and site Senior Leadership team, identify, implement and drive the delivery of people focused initiatives
  • Providing coaching, advice and guidance to line managers on a wide range of Employee relations
  • Liaise closely with the work council group in policy development
  • With the Head of HR, effectively manage the site people budget
Who we are looking for:

To be successful in this role you should be able to demonstrate solid experience of HR business partnering providing advice, support and guidance within a large scale FMCG business working with operational and office colleagues. You will thrive working in a fast paced environment balancing the operational day to day with multiple projects. A trusted advisor, you will take a pro-active approach and be passionate about making a difference. Ideally you will hold a CIPD Level 7 qualification.

With a proven track record of delivering results and of implementing initiatives to positively impact people KPI’s and workforce engagement, you will be confident in dealing with a wide range of employee relations matters and of upskilling managers in this area. It goes without saying that your interpersonal and communication skills will be second to none and you will be comfortable and confident to challenge the status quo and of managing change.

You will enjoy spending time on the factory floor, engaging with the workforce and have the ability to quickly build strong working relationships. A natural collaborator you will take an inclusive approach to working cross functionally to drive the wider people agenda within the business.
