About the Role:

At Ferrero, we prioritize quality in everything we do. To ensure our consumers receive products that meet our high standards and maintain their trust, we place great emphasis on safety and traceability. We are currently looking for a Plant Food Safety and Quality Manager who will oversee all principles and practices related to food quality, ensuring optimal measures are maintained within the plant.
This role reports managerially to the Entegre Plant Manager and professionally to the Hazelnut Food Safety and Quality Manager. It is based in Trabzon, home to one of our Hazelnut Entegre plants.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement HACCP principles, monitor critical control points, and manage Operational Prerequisite Programs
  • Lead the FSQ team and act as the focal point to strengthen Food Safety culture
  • Oversee Cleaning & Sanitation and Environmental Monitoring Plans
  • Assess the results of raw materials analysis (hazelnuts, packaging, etc.)
  • Conduct food safety and quality tests based on risk analysis and customer requirements and verify the test results' suitability
  • Supervise chemical, microbiological, and sensory laboratories, ensuring proper maintenance, skills, and control of all chemicals used
  • Address customer complaints and implement corrective or preventive actions to promote continuous improvement
  • Take necessary actions during emergencies affecting food safety
  • Enhance the food safety and quality management system, leading preparations for internal and external audits
  • Maintain certifications for BRC, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, Halal, and Kosher standards

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in food science or related fields (e.g., Food, Chemical, Microbiology, etc.).
  • Preferably 10+ years of experience in the food industry
  • Preferred certifications: GFSI, HACCP, and RCA/CAPA techniques
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and strategic thinker
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Turkish
