About the Role:

Ferrero Canada is looking for highly motivated current post-secondary students or recent grads from a post-secondary institution in Business Administration, Commerce or Mathematics to join our Canada Commercial Early Career Program as a Market Research Intern within the Consumer & Shopper Understanding (CSU) department.
The primary responsibility of the CSU team is to support the Brand, Trade Marketing teams and Executive Management team in making the decisions that will shape the future of our brands. The team will have a singular focus on the most critical challenges and opportunities facing the businesses, lifting the horizon beyond the immediate term and focusing on issues outside of the "day to day" operations.
Over the course of the program, participants will attend a variety of training courses and programs that will set them up for success in future roles. These include but are not limited to:
- New Hire Orientation
- E-Learning
- Store Visit
- An exciting business project specific to the function that will be presented to the management team and the Leadership Team after the first 4 months.
- Onsite work experience within Sales, Marketing & Trade Marketing
- Soft skills training (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Presentation Delivery Skills)

This position is hybrid, and will be based out of our offices in North York.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leverage marketing intelligence tools such as NielsenIQ, Numerator Insights, Innova, and other internal POS tools to develop clear, compelling reports and presentations that communicate findings to brand teams and executive stakeholders
- Support in compiling actionable insights to assess market and Ferrero’s performance during the key seasons
- Support the brand teams in completing 1-2 analytical projects to address business needs during the tenure of their placement. The Co-Op Student will also deliver one final strategic project to the CSU team and Leadership team at the end of their term with Ferrero.
- Seek continuous improvement by staying up to date with industry thought leadership, data visualization and structural methodologies to find efficiencies and further enrich insights for Ferrero
Who we are looking for:
- Current post-secondary students (3rd year+), or recent graduates from post-secondary educational institution in Business Administration, Commerce or Mathematics, or related discipline
- Proficient with MS Office Suite tools
- Experience with NielsenIQ Discover and Numerator Insights is an asset
- Ability to visualize data in a digestible and compelling manner
- Ability to adapt and learn new things quickly and accurately
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and takes initiative
- Collaborative, and works effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical capabilities with intermediate-advanced skill in Excel
- Detail and results orientated
