eCommerce Manager, Japan
About the Role:
Ferrero is seeking an eCommerce Manager for Japan to support the execution of the eCommerce and accelerating channels strategy. The role contributes to driving growth across key channels (Omnichannel, Pure Players, Quick Commerce, and eB2B), strengthening partnerships, and ensuring excellence in execution to enhance brand performance in a fast-evolving environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of the eCommerce strategy in alignment with global and regional priorities
- Identify growth opportunities across key channels and contribute to business initiatives
- Monitor performance across KPIs such as sales, market share, and distribution
- Contribute to the development of new channels and business models
- Support the development and execution of partnership frameworks
- Build and maintain relationships with distributor, agencies, and key external partners
- Track performance and support joint business plans with partners
- Execute assortment, pricing, promotion, and merchandising strategies
- Optimize eContent, including product pages, search visibility, and ratings and reviews
- Support the implementation of digital and shopper activation campaigns
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and best practices
- Track and report on performance across key KPIs including revenue, return on investment, and market share
- Support budget planning and monitor investment effectiveness
- Prepare inputs for regular business reviews
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams
- Partner with regional and global eCommerce teams on key initiatives
- Ensure execution aligns with brand guidelines and company policies
- Support preparation of materials for leadership discussions
About You:
- University degree in Business, Management or related field
- Experience in eCommerce in Japan, ideally within the FMCG industry
- Strong working experience with eCommerce partners and digital platforms
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret and manage KPIs
- Understanding of digital activation and eContent optimization
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Agile mindset with a strong focus on execution
- Native fluency in Japanese and business-level English
