Hazelnut Company Chile - Food Safety and Quality System Coordinator
About the Role:
We are looking for a new member for our FSQ Team to oversee and strengthen our Food Safety & Quality Management System. The role ensures alignment with Group policies and certification requirements, supports internal and external audits, and drives continuous improvement across local plants. You will lead local quality teams, coordinate system development, and ensure compliance with Chilean food regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of FSQ Management Systems.
- Create and maintain FSQ procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
- Monitor local food regulations and escalate potential impacts.
- Lead local quality teams and support internal, external, and supplier audits.
- Review FSQ documentation, process data, hygiene and sanitation records.
- Prepare operational reports and support internal controls.
- Ensure proper SAP usage and alignment with Group processes.
- Report CAPA progress and support CAPEX/OPEX planning.
- Support management of major and critical customer complaints.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Food Engineering
- Preferably 7+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of international quality standards for the food industry (ISO9001, ISO22000, HACCP, GFSI, Halal, Kosher)
- Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability in communication and cross-team collaboration, effective time management, and adaptability to diverse and dynamic environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- No travel restrictions
