About the Role:

 

Manage a Plant with full responsibility on results (in terms of performance, continuous improvement, respect of budget, etc.). Optimize production factor usage / consumption (labor, machinery and methods) according to qualitative standards and production plans. Manage and develop subordinates in compliance with Company principles, incentivizing teamwork. Assure the feasibility for new production related projects. Assure to Global management and development of the production system in accordance to term contractually defined. Pursue production objectives, with particular reference to health, safety and environment issues.
 

Principales responsabilidades:

 

  • Supports Production Department in pursuing objectives and defining operative strategies to get the “best class manufacturing”.
  • Defines and coordinate budget objectives (labor, energy, maintenance, investments) for the Plant, according to Group guidelines and target.
  • Assures the respect of production plans agreed at Group level, within defined timing, activities and costs.
  • Manages and controls production factors (labor, energy, maintenance, etc.), in order to minimize costs.
  • Manages third-party manufacturing in order to optimize costs and pursue production plans targets
  • Assures the production within given timings and quality standards, according to requirements coming from Central Quality and Central Planning.
  • Assures ordinary and extraordinary maintenance to all Plant’s machineries/assets.
  • Assures that the production is made by following defined quality standards.
  • Assures the compliance of the Plant to quality and hygiene standard, even by obtaining / maintaining possible certificates (ISO, IFS, etc.).
  • Supports the collection and implementation of proposals for improvement, related to production cycle organization, processes and Plants.
  • Assures the compliance with safety, environment and food regulation and legislation.

A quién estamos buscando:

    

  • Civil Industrial Engineer, Food Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or similar career.
  • Extensive knowledge in continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Knowledge in people management.
  • Knowledge in risk prevention.
  • Knowledge in current local legislation related to their field of action.
  • Knowledge of operational and administrative management tools.
  • Experience in construction and maintenance of effective teams of people, in management and optimization of Production Plants, with more than 200 people.
