About the Role:
The role leads Ferrero's demand planning and logistics operations in Taiwan and plays a pivotal part in ensuring product availability, optimizing inventory, and driving operational excellence to support business growth. The position is responsible for leading the monthly S&OP process, managing 3PL partners, and collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to deliver high service levels and meet freshness objectives. It also involves developing strong relationships with suppliers and distributors to exceed service level expectations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Align forecasts between commercial and supply teams to ensure continuous product availability and achievement of KPIs, including optimal stock levels, freshness, and service performance
- Organize and lead monthly meetings with commercial and supply teams; prepare and participate in monthly S&OP meetings
- Support executive forecasting meetings and secure management endorsement of monthly forecasts, ensuring alignment with supply requirements; analyze demand trends and adjust inventory plans accordingly
- Oversee 3PL operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory accuracy
- Ensure compliance with FEFO, conduct inventory counts, and uphold logistics SOPs; regularly review performance, assess KPIs, initiate improvements, and manage cost controls
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including container allocations
- Define warehousing and import strategies to enhance operational efficiency
- Lead tenders and evaluate network resources to support business needs
- Ensure proper functioning of IT tools, including software assessments, improvement requests, ticket management, EDI troubleshooting, and deployment of new tools
- Monitor logistics costs against budget objectives; ensure vendor compliance and address any deviations from agreements
- Conduct root cause analyses to mitigate risks and implement operational efficiency and cost-saving initiatives
- Ensure partners comply with Ferrero’s quality and safety standards; lead warehouse audits and drive continuous improvement
- Foster team development through ongoing support and coaching; enhance performance and capabilities by providing necessary tools and resources
Who we are looking for:
- University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- Relevant experience in logistics, demand planning, or supply chain management, with strong knowledge of 3PL and distributor management, shipping, transport, warehousing, planning, and inventory control
- Proven experience in leading S&OP processes and facilitating regular demand reviews
- Comprehensive understanding of KPI management
- Strong project management and data analytics skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing abilities
- Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance operational needs with business priorities
- Experience in team management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP ECC and Power BI
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required
