About the Role:

As a Sales Analyst, you will play a vital role in empowering the Key Account team, Sales Director, and wider commercial stakeholders with accurate, timely, and actionable reporting and insights. Your core responsibility will be to deliver performance analysis across key metrics—including Volume, Value, and Trade Spend—through regular monthly, seasonal, annual, and ad hoc reporting.

 

You’ll be a key driver in evolving our reporting capabilities, with a strong focus on enhancing data accuracy and efficiency. Using tools like Power BI, you will integrate internal and external data sources to improve the overall quality of commercial insights and support strategic decision-making.

 

Additionally, you will serve as the local owner and administrator of the interim Sales Planning tool, ensuring it supports effective planning and trade investment decisions. 

 

The role is offered as a 12-month contract.

Main Responsibilities:

Sales Reporting & Analytics

  • Deliver accurate and timely reporting and insights across key commercial metrics—Volume, Value, and Trade Spend—to support the Sales team and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain dynamic Power BI dashboards, prepare regular and ad hoc reports, and analyze sales trends to support planning and performance reviews. 
  • Identify and help resolve data discrepancies across planning tools (e.g. SAC, SAP TM, ECC) to ensure alignment and improve overall reporting accuracy.

 

Trade Spend Analysis

  • Support the monthly review of Trade Spend performance with clear reports and variance analysis.
  • Act as a key analytics contact during the annual planning and budgeting cycle and assist with providing actionable customer contribution insights to senior stakeholders. 

 

Sales Systems & Tools Support

  • Ensure the smooth operation and effective use of key sales tools by collaborating with IT and the Commercial Planning team to maintain Master Data and other critical inputs.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of essential sales templates
  • Troubleshoot and help resolve issues within the interim Sales Planning tool to maintain system reliability

 

Retail Execution & Insight Reporting

  • Collaborate with the Retail Capability Manager to blend sales data with field insights, tracking activation effectiveness across retail channels.
  • Spot trends and opportunities, share valuable insights, and help refine future activation strategies through regular reviews.

  • 1–3 years of experience in a similar role
