About the Role:

The role is aimed to consolidate multiple data sources to develop information and recommendations to support the development of brand plan and strategy to achieve sales objectives for allocated brand of Nutella in Australia and New Zealand markets.

This is a fixed term contract with the expected duration being from April 2025 - January 2026. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing marketing position and strategy including definition of marketing mix, marketing tools, consumer target groups, pricing and etc. basing on depth market research and analysis
  • Effectively manage and timely execute all brand marketing activities
  • Develop and implement annual consumer communication plans for assigned brand
  • Provide ongoing monthly tracking and update of brand performance, including performance in sales and comprehensive understanding, tracking and sharing of competitor activities across market
  • Perform analysis and post-activity reviews and makes appropriate recommendations to drive future results in term of brand market share and profitability
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with agencies to deliver activity on time and on budget, write relevant and compelling media briefs
  • Produce creative communication ideas and develop the most effective and efficient media schedule in order to achieve strategic goals
  • Assist in developing key brand visuals to communicate the brand in stores, work with the Retail Activation team to create impact for relevant marketing programs in retail
  • Lead tactical and operational projects including new SKU development process
  • Investigate market opportunities in order to identify gaps in current brand portfolio, plan and coordinate the development and introductions of new products including marketing, pricing, financial, supply, and manufacturing aspects
  • Measure consumer interest through appropriate marketing research
  • Analyze market and conduct consumer research in order to have a better understanding of sales trends and how consumer needs work in conjunction with the insights team
  • Follow the research path to monitor market trends and understand the brand health, image and equity; write relevant and compelling insight briefs
  • Develop and implement sound promotional consumer programs for brand/category when necessary. Use appropriate mechanics against specified marketing objectives
  • Present recommendations, business cases, strategies to management for further alignment and implementation
  • Oversee brand budgets and provide updates on brand financials as needed, manage POs, invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments

Who we are looking for:

  • University degree
  • Relevant experience in FMCG Marketing and Advertising, with the experience of brand campaigns/implementation and analysis
  • Understanding and working knowledge of Australia FMCG market
  • Strong marketing fundamentals and project management skillset
  • Solid analytical ability and cognitive thought, previous exposure to scan data and consumer research would be looked upon favourably
  • Agility and capability of adapting / multi-tasking in a fast paced and continuously changing environment
  • High sense of responsibility and proactivity, anticipation of issues and proposal of solutions, high level of independency and autonomy
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, strong presentation and business writing skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced MS Office tools use, SAP experience is of a strong plus
