What to expect:

  • Ensures within the plant the development in a technical domain of maintenance engineering knowledge, best practice, guidelines for health and safety, environment, energetic efficiency
  • Provides the needed information, based on the plant technical specificities for the execution of feasibility studies for plant related investment projects (e.g. rationalizations, production capacity increasing projects, etc.)
  • Provides technical expertise aimed to the make or buy decision
  • Supports Project Manager for all investments for the plant
  • Ensures that investments are approved and realized according to planned timing and costs respecting the defined technical features
  • Manages the follow up of supplies, installations, start-ups and hand overs to the plant
  • Review of activity state of work and the reporting to plant leadership team and international key stakeholders
  • Interacts with Group Functions / investing promoters (Op. Dev, Planning, Technical Category R&D (DTC), Supply Chain, etc.) which need a local intervention by Ferrero Engineering, and vice versa
  • Oversees the technical assistance to the plant
  • Responsibility for budget figures related to the investment managed
  • Supports the elaboration of the operating working plan for investments and ensures and supports the resource allocation on projects
  • Works in very close contact with Technical Sourcing division, in order to identify innovative technical solutions
  • Ensure proper follow of technical group procedures

Who we are looking for:

  • Master’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in Technical Department/Project execution
  • Some experiences as responsible Project Manager
  • Specific legal and normative knowledge related to machines safety and installation sites management
  • User experience with MS-Offices, SAP-PM/FE3 and, CAD
  • Budget management and presentation skills
  • Experienced in team working, problem solving and criticalities management
  • Strategic thinking and global mindset
  • Result-oriented and self-motivated action
  • Attention to details and strong proactivity
  • Proficiency in German and English. Other languages will be considered as a plus
