What to expect:

  • Expansion and maintenance of client-server systems and networks (operational technology infrastructures)
  • Use of monitoring systems
  • Support of storage, firewall and virtualization / hardware systems, as well as data backup
  • Implementation of cyber security guidelines
  • Independent project work from planning, project planning and implementation to documentation

What we are looking for:

  • Successfully completed engineering studies or state-certified technician with a focus on computer science or training as an IT specialist for system integration with several years of professional experience
  • Very good knowledge of network technology (CISCO, Checkpoint, Hirschmann, Siemens, etc.), virtualization (VMware) and very good knowledge of Windows, Linux and Unix operating systems for server and client systems
  • Know-how in the areas of SQL Server, Active Directory, antivirus, network protocols (DNS, DHCP, SMTP, etc.), automation and SCADA systems (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider) is an advantage
  • Ideally at least 2-3 years of professional experience
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as intercultural competence
  • Independent working style, initiative, commitment and dedication
  • Very good knowledge of English and good knowledge of German
  • Willingness to work abroad
