About the Role:

Prospective employee will be the Ferrero representative at several co-packing locations in the US. Applicants should be familiar and comfortable working in a production environment. Responsible for manging 8 site locations across the US producing 300,000 qli a year (40 million $ worth of Business). Responsible to ensure inventory and production declaration alignment. Responsible for identifying cost saving measures at 3rd party locations. Responsible for ensuring performance of the supplier to contract obligations. Responsible for developing business relationships with co-packers. Responsible for ensuring invoice accuracy. Responsible for ensuring Ferrero quality principals are followed. Works closely with Production Planning team to ensure packaging and bulk materials are available for production. Responsible to Conduct annual physical inventory counts. Responsible to review obsolete materials reports and work to reduce the amount/value of materials to be wasted. Perform and support all job requirements as directed by Manager. Liaison between 3rd party employees, Production Planners and Ferrero Management team. SAP and MS Excel advanced experience required. Up to 30% travel required.

Main Responsibilities:

o    On a weekly basis run the WIP extension report and work with supply planning, deployment and quality to have the report filled out and communicate the WIP shelf life extension to co-packers
o    On a monthly basis monitor the ageing of FP produced, track the average time from FG production to outbound and work with deployment/co-packers to keep this KPI within the agreed thresholds
o    On a monthly basis run the WIP balancing report and reconcile all 3rd parties WIP locations
o    Ensure packaging and bulk materials are available for production
o    Understand processes and propose improvements or new way of working
o    Coordinate with Production Planner and 3rd party management to align on future production needs
o    As needed resolve WIP and FG stock transfer order issues; clear open orders on a monthly basis
o    As needed create manual PO in SAP and follow its release strategy; instruct co-packers on how to invoice
o    On a monthly basis run the FEFO report (First Expiring First Out), monitor how the co-packers use WIP batches and work to ensure the appropriate rule is followed
o    Collect and keep track of tooling charges from co-packers; work with MKT to obtain a PO and instruct co-packers on how to invoice
o    Obsolete material management: on a monthly basis scrupulously review obsolete materials reports received from 3rd parties or internal departments, work to reduce the amount/value of materials to be wasted, get necessary paperwork completed (COD and scrap order) and instruct 3rd parties or internal departments to dispose materials and get them removed from SAP
o    Inventory alignment: on a weekly basis pull inventory report from SAP and check inventory alignment against reports provided by 3rd parties; schedule and lead meeting with 3rd parties and internal stakeholder to analyze discrepancies’ root cause and reconcile them
o    Production declaration alignment: on a weekly basis pull production declarations report from SAP and check alignment against reports provided by 3rd parties; schedule and lead meeting with 3rd parties and internal stakeholder to analyze discrepancies’ root cause and reconcile them
o    Develop business relationships with contract manufacturers
o    Invoicing: on a weekly basis pull purchase orders report from SAP and check alignment against invoices submitted by 3rd parties; schedule and lead meeting with 3rd parties and internal stakeholder to analyze discrepancies’ root cause and reconcile them; resolve invoicing workflows received through SAP
o    Collaborate in project groups for the development and launch of new products
o    Review PDP briefs with the team, discuss capacity and capability constraints in order to define the most appropriate production allocation 
o    Propose opportunities to expand capabilities and/or capacity for volume growth
