Supply Chain Manager
About the Role:
As the Supply Chain Manager for Bulgaria, you will lead, guide and coordinate all commercial supply chain activities across the Bulgarian market. Reporting to the Industrial and Commercial Supply Chain Manager Romania & Bulgaria, you will hold full ownership of local operations, overseeing Demand & Supply Planning, Customer Service, Warehousing and Transportation.
You will ensure that all functions operate in a fully integrated and aligned way, supporting business objectives, service level targets and operational efficiency.
The role is critical in maintaining high service levels while optimizing cost-to-serve, through strong cross-functional collaboration across the entire Planning-to-Delivery cycle.
In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will take on a hands-on role as Supply Planner, managing supply plans and inventory levels to ensure product availability and continuity of supply. You will work extensively with SAP and play an active role in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, translating commercial and operational inputs into executable plans.
This position requires a balance of strategic oversight, operational discipline and hands-on planning expertise, enabling you to drive consistent performance and continuous improvement across the Bulgarian supply chain.
Main Responsibilities:
As Supply Chain Manager, you will lead and manage three core functions: Demand Planning, Customer Service and Warehousing & Transportation, while playing an active, hands-on role in Supply Planning, ensuring market coverage and product availability.
You will manage the Demand Planning team within the S&OP cycle, ensuring accurate, country-level forecasts and acting as a strategic partner to the business. As the direct manager of Customer Service, you will oversee the end-to-end order-to-cash process setting the standard for service excellence. You will also manage Warehousing & Transportation operations, driving efficiency, quality, and cost control across logistics, stock management, and co-packing activities.
On the Supply Planning side, you will take personal ownership of market coverage and product availability: releasing distribution plans to production via SAP APO, closely monitoring demand vs. production vs. shipments and proactively securing stock in the right place at the right time. You will collaborate directly with production teams to align factory output with business needs, anticipating constraints around materials and capacity.
You will manage the Supply Chain Budget, tracking costs monthly to ensure financial discipline and work cross-functionally across all departments to resolve issues quickly and keep operations running smoothly.
Finally, you will provide regular analysis and reporting, focusing on stock levels, product availability and freshness, ensuring the right products reach the market at the right time while minimizing waste.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain professional who brings both expertise and passion into everything they do. With at least 10+ years of experience, this individual has built a strong foundation in managing complex operations and leading teams.
In this role, the ideal candidate is a strong people manager who communicates confidently in written and spoken English. Comfort with digital tools such as the Microsoft Office Suite comes naturally, and experience with SAP (preferred SAP APO) is a strong advantage.
Every day brings new challenges, and this person thrives in managing multiple priorities while meeting strict timelines. With a deep understanding of Supply & Demand Planning, Supply Chain and Logistics processes, the candidate ensures smooth and efficient operations.
Accuracy is at the heart of their work. They are detail-oriented, highly skilled in working with data and figures and consistently results-driven. Their dedication and ownership are reflected in how they approach responsibilities and deliver outcomes.
We are seeking someone who is flexible, autonomous and adaptable, able to succeed in a dynamic environment while maintaining high performance standards.
This role does not require international travel, allowing full focus on delivering local impact.
