About the Role:

If you are accountable for your results, focus activities on attaining set objectives, this role can interest you!  As a Merchandiser, your main focus will be to support the National Field Sales Manager by developing good relationships with store managers and improving in store execution, so to achieve best point of sale volumes and placements. 

Main Responsibilities:

Shelf Excellence

  • Ensure shelf placing is in-line or improved vs planogram
  • Ensure shelf is replenished, with no out of stock situation
  • Keep track of stock freshness and FIFO replenishment 


In Store Visibility

  • Arrange all POSM placement, NCP setups, adhoc promotions and display moments
  • Ensure display distribution levels and that there is no OOS
  • Monitor and track if any issues and align with Sales representative 


Store relationship and monitoring

  • Develop strong working relationships with store managers to ensure smooth operations and eased negotiations
  • Ensure high follow through of in store execution by monitoring stock freshness, ensuring FIFO is thoroughly followed, checking expiry dates, confirming pricing levels, etc.

Who we are looking for:

  • At least 2 years of experience in field sales 
  • Previous experience in the FMCG segment will be a plus 
  • Language: Fluency in English & Chinese
  • Market Knowledge: Traditional & Modern Trade, Impulse Channel
  • Capabilities: Critical thinking skills, project and time management
  • Behaviours: Proactive, accountable, dynamic, responsible, resilient, multi-task, meet deadlines, organized, result-oriented
