Key Account Manager, Singapore
About the Role:
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop key account plans to drive business growth in line with strategic goals
- Propose commercial policies, trade terms, and customer plans for nationwide implementation
- Prepare sales budgets and monitor achievement of targets, recommending adjustments as needed
- Analyze customer performance and identify future business opportunities
- Define customer-specific goals, strategies, and action plans
- Conduct SWOT analyses and performance reviews for each customer
- Address credit issues and ensure compliance with commercial policies
- Negotiate contracts and annual promotional plans with assigned customers
- Collaborate with Trade Marketing to develop sales arguments and implement marketing plans
- Support sales field teams in executing planograms and promotional activities
- Ensure trade spending aligns with Ferrero’s commercial policy and delivers optimal ROI
- Approve payments and tie spending to business-driving activities
- Communicate agreements and action plans to sales teams for market deployment
- Monitor in-store execution and coordinate with teams to ensure alignment with national plans
- Evaluate proposals from sales teams and approve activities in line with policy
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned customers
- Resolve issues at the national level and oversee invoice approvals
About You:
- University degree in Business or respective field
- Relevant experience in account management, sales, with in-depth market knowledge: traditional and modern trade, impulse channels, portfolio management, commercial logistics, sales and merchandising processes
- Strong analytical, negotiation, leadership, and people management skills
- Proactiveness, dynamic approach, team orienteation, responsibility and drive for results
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fluent in English, Chinese is considered a plus
- Proficiency with MS Office tools
