Demand Planner
About the Role:
The Demand Planner role is responsible for end‑to‑end demand planning activities across selected South East Asia markets. Working in close partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams, the Demand Planner ensures accurate forecasts, timely updates, and alignment with business targets across weekly, monthly, and annual planning cycles. The position plays a key role in balancing demand and supply in a long lead‑time FMCG environment, helping to optimize service levels, inventory health, and overall supply chain efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain weekly demand plans in collaboration with country commercial teams, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts and warehouse coverage targets
- Translate commercial forecasts into demand plans, considering different production and shipping lead times across global manufacturing sites
- Collaborate closely with Supply Planning teams to manage forecast changes and assess impacts within and beyond frozen production horizons
- Monitor and improve forecast accuracy across assigned markets
- Partner with Sales teams to apply forecast process guidelines and drive disciplined planning practices
- Identify opportunities to improve demand planning effectiveness and supply chain responsiveness
- Support annual, monthly, and weekly S&OP cycles to ensure demand plans are reflected in supply plans, shipment schedules, and re‑allocation decisions
- Contribute to alignment across commercial and supply chain stakeholders

Collaborate with external partners including distributors, logistics providers, shipping companies, and repacking partners
- Monitor inbound shipments from factories to local markets
- Ensure warehouse replenishment is aligned with agreed monthly and weekly targets
- Analyze existing supply chain planning tools and systems to identify improvement opportunities
- Work with IT and Logistics stakeholders to support enhancements to planning, reporting, and data quality
About You:
- Experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a related role
- Exposure to FMCG environments with long production or shipment lead times is strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of demand planning and forecasting processes
- Knowledge of shipping and logistics concepts
- Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency
- Structured, detail‑oriented, and data‑driven
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Comfortable working across markets, functions, and time zones
- Knowledge of the MS Office tools with advanced Excel, SAP and/or S/4 experience, Power BI is preferred
- Fluency in English, written and spoken; any other language is a plus
