We're seeking a Senior Supply Chain Controller to drive financial excellence within our dynamic supply chain operations, overseeing the financial aspects of the supply chain operations, ensuring effective cost management, budget adherence, and financial analysis. Main Responsibilities:

BUSINESS PARTNERING

  • Provide full support to the supply chain strategy. Use financial modeling and data analysis to predict the financial impacts under different strategic paths, provide long-term financial planning suggestions, and ensure that the supply chain strategy is highly consistent with the company's overall financial goals.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the full life cycle costs of the supply chain, covering not only the regular links such as procurement, warehousing, and logistics, but also the implicit cost analysis of supplier development and inventory holding costs.
  • Being the process leader for supply chain performance, explore potential cost optimization and efficiency improvement opportunities, and promote continuous improvement of business departments.

PLANNING & FORECAST

  • Is in charge to elaborate in full cooperation with Business Partners the Budget & Forecast for annual supply chain budget according to the guidelines with combination of the  local market dynamics, and historical data to develop a scientific and reasonable budget plan. 
  • Follow Group Supply Chain Controlling standard costs methodology definition & guidelines.
  • Ensures the timing required for compliance with the Planning/Budget/SAF process.
  • Monitor the budget execution in real time and make dynamic adjustments to ensure that the budget deviation rate is controlled within a minimal range.
  • Perform monthly analysis on Supply Chain cost, both Industrial and Commercial, deviations vs Bdg and Forecast.
  • Monitor and analyse monthly actuals versus target KPIs (including for instance service level, freshness etc.)
  • Support Business Partners in target analysis, explaining with detailed variance analysis the reasons behind the delta and driving the Function versus target achievement

CONTROLLING & REPORTING

  • Responsible for monthly and year-end closings activities, performing variance as well as development of recommendations for corrective actions and sharing with Region Management
  • Prepare analysis for the control of investments. Support the preparation of the Investment Committee
  • Elaborate planning and budgeting for stock value in full cooperation with Business Partners
  • Perform actual variance analysis of stock, both Industrial and Commercial, versus budget and versus previous year. 
  • Support during monthly closing activities, in terms of analysis by providing specific information.
  • Cooperate with Area Operation Controllers for analysis of business outcomes.
  • Support Region I&S Controller providing relevant information relating to the medium-term objectives.

Who we are looking for:

  • University degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in finance controlling, with 5+ years of experience in a finance role for Supply Chain, FMCG companies preferred
  • Expertise in budgeting and strategic planning
  • Strong data analytical skills
  • Experience in logistic is a plus 
  • Good learning ability with logical and critical thinking
  • Agility to work in a fast pace and under pressure
  • Effective communication, engaging and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • SAP system and functionality knowledge
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
