About the Role:
If you have a great eye for details and are a perfect organiser this role can interest you. As a Sales Controller your main focus will be to ensure accurate financial planning, channel management, and data-driven decision-making to support the sales organization in achieving revenue and profitability targets within the Commercial controlling team.
Main Responsibilities:
Commercial Topline Consolidation & Performance Management
- Own the end-to-end consolidation of sales performance (volume, revenue, trade spending) for all channels, with a focus on NKA (National Key Accounts)
- Deliver monthly/quarterly financial reports (Budget/SAF/Actuals), including variance analysis vs. plan, and align with stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Finance)
- Lead the weekly sales forecast to Area in collaboration with cross functional team
- Drive standardization of financial templates and processes for regional/category inputs to HQ.
- Manage other relevant ad hoc report, project and tasks
Channel Management – National Key Account
- Work closely with cross functional team to develop channel specific strategy including value chain elaboration, trade spending optimization
- Support Trade Promotion long term and short term strategy development
- Develop channel specific pricing strategy and provide guidance for promotion calendar
- Support monthly rolling forecast/SAF/Budget to deliver channel specific P&L and analyse customer profitability and recommend margin improvement actions
- Monitor trade spending efficiency, identify risks/opportunities, and ensure compliance with control guidelines
- Provide guidance for end-to-end business process including planning, execution and reimbursement
Consolidation and Financial Reporting
- Design efficient templates for regional inputs for HQ consolidation
- Coordinate within controlling team to ensure a consolidated company view P&L
- Support monthly company performance review and other ad hoc projects
Distributor’s Profitability and Remuneration
- Support the distributor contract spending guidance development to make sure to deliver company control strategic plan objectives
- Evaluate distributor remuneration schemes and ensure alignment with company strategy
- Maintain contractual database and monitor distributor’s rebate payment and balance
Who we are looking for:
- University degree in Finance, Statistics or related majors
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably with the knowledge of FMCG business processes
- Knowledge of the performance monitoring and planning
- Budgeting, reporting, profit analysis skills
- Experience with SAP will be a plus
- Good collaboration and negotiation skills
- Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken
