About the Role:

The role is responsible at Region Level to ensure the proper Commercial planning process respecting timings. Interact with all Commercial Departments to ensure the monthly closings and explain deviations from the Budget/Forecast. Interacts with the Area Commercial Controlling to support the Area agenda/view and explain deviations. Ensure compliance with the procedures for loading into the Information Systems of the financial data (actual and Budget/Planning). Act as business partner supporting commercial functions in assessing, monitoring, deciding on all commercial levers (S&OP, volume, pricing, Gross to Net, A&P, OVH).

Main Responsibilities:

PLANNING & FORECAST
•    Lead budget, SAF and LE process, align with key stakeholders of deliverables and meet group deadline for Business Unit
•    Track business actual performance, lead gap analysis vs. plans, provide explanations and drive action plans
•    Support Sales and Trade-marketing to build OP by Channel and key customers
CONTROLLING & REPORTING
•    Ensures monthly and year-end closings activities, performing variance analysis (products, margins, advertising investments, etc.)
•    Lead monthly topline forecast, ensure Trade Spending compliance, manage trade-spend forecasting process (including R&O), drive monthly TS consensus meetings with Sales and Trade Marketing 
•    Drive off-line customer profitability process, drive investment return optimization and channel profitability improvements
•    Responsible for Category Controlling, drive category performance improvement, lead financial simulations for initiative launches (new SKU, new brand, new channel), track the actual ROI and provide variances analysis vs. original plans. 
•    Support company new RTM projects, provide pricing and trade-value chain analysis
•    Support Region Controller in in the deployment of new initiatives / projects
TEAM MANAGEMENT
•    Recruit, manage, coach, develop and motivate the team
•    Assure the effective team management with clear definition and alignment on activities planning
•    Ensure team professional development, manage team evaluations and propose development initiatives aligned with HR

Who we are looking for:

  • University degree or above in finance sphere.
  • 10+ work experience in Finance / FP&A / Controlling or related field in multinational and matrix organization; preferably in FMCG companies.
  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen and sound understanding of financial statements and processes. 
  • Highly motivated with a strong sense and ability to proactively engage internal and external stakeholders to develop value-added solutions.
  • Fluent oral and written English and Mandarin
  • Excellent Communication skills; self-motivated and manage to handle multi-tasks, prioritizing and meet deadlines. 
  • Good interpersonal skills and team-management.
