Senior Channel Development Manager - Traditional Channel

About the Role:

  • To drive the business by deploying channel Strategies, defining and developing efficient distribution model and display visibility standard by coordinating inputs from Marketing and Sales, Group and external best practices.
  • To develop the channels to define the business opportunity and developing the coverage model and investment mix.
  • Plan, Communicate, Coordinate and Coach across trade management and development, trade consumer promo, POSM and category SKU development and management

Main Responsibilities:

Channel Strategy Development

  • Define the channel strategy planning trade marketing initiatives for the assigned category or channel
  • Defines building blocks KPIs by Channel / type of POS (distribution, freshness, visibility, price consumer, display)
  • Define and implement tools to support strategic development of the retail mix: spaces, exhibits, promotion, POS Materials, planogram (shelf, off shelf, check out, displays)
  • Develops channel annual and monthly sales activity and marketing support plan (Canvas, monthly highlight) including support for new initiatives, launches
  • Develop the business story based on shopper behaviour understanding
  • Define the business opportunity for the emerging channels
  • Test the business model in pilot cities, include coverage model, product mix and promotion mechanism.
  • Key window for SPE Projects implementation and coordination with KA whenever sales involvement is necessary.
  • Continuously optimize the test model and develop the channel strategy to roll-out
  • Customer development in a specific channel

About You:

  • Trade Marketing , Sales field, KA, Merchandising, Category Management processes and practices;
  • Market Knowledge: impulse channel, new channel development
  • Account management and distributor management
  • Understanding of Commercial Supply Chain process
  • Cross functional projects management skills, leadership skills, strong analytical skills;
  • English– fluent
  • MS office advanced user
