About the Role:
Be responsible for the implementation of Area Marketing PS in the Region for the competence Category, being the point of reference for Area Marketing Manager Category (AMMC) and supervising Region Marketing team. Develop and propose the Marketing Mix and Plan definition incl. positioning and planning / budgeting process for the assigned category from a region-perspective, giving input to the Area PS.
Supervise and perform Brand management activities / Category projects to achieve the given targets (P&L, Market Share / Competitive position objectives) within budget constraints in full alignment with the Central / Area guidelines .
Main Responsibilities:
PS SUPPORT & IMPLEMENTATION
Analyses and builds a country specific expertise on the long-term Brand performance, competitors, trends and consumer understanding etc. in alignment with Region Manager,
Provides inputs to the strategic plan (PS) and budget to achieve optimal setting of country specific targets
PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT
Coordinates the local input requests for the creation of local SKUs basket leveraging Brands Global Catalogue. Activates requests for create new SKUs accordingly to defined Global Catalogue process coherently with set Golden Rules. Provides local perspective in process of defining appropriate list prices / price increases
MARKETING INNOVATION / RENOVATION
Supports the development of innovation initiatives and their deployment in the Region in alignment with Brand PS guidelines leveraging local opportunities and market expertise, in alignment with AMMC. Is responsible for the management and development of Local Jewels products
COMMUNICATION AND MEDIA
Provides inputs to communication, advertising and media planning, including identification of target audiences and participation in definition of media mix (including sponsoring) to maximize impact of advertising campaigns. Guarantees the communication development from the copy brief to ‘on air’, within budget constraints, and ensures the AMMC approval at the required gates
PROMOTIONS
Defines the promotion strategic approach and planning in full alignment with Region Manager
Is in charge of Local promotion development (e.g., agency briefing, developments, concept evaluation and corrections, etc.) aligning with Region Manager.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor/Master’s degree(s)
- >15 years of professional experience in related field, in-house experience in FMCG/Retail, Food FMCG experience
- Strong strategic-thinking, management and leadership capability
- Advanced communication skills, oral and written
- Fluency in English
- Understanding of trade dynamics of omini
- With full accountability and commitment to drive and develop the team
