Assistant Revenue Management Manager
About the Role:
The role aims to maximize revenue and gross profit by leveraging multiple revenue management levers. Identify value maneuvers, monitor and drive the accomplishment; Drive trade spending, trade terms framework and promotion strategy optimization. Closely collaborate with cross functional teams to derive business implications and deliver revenue and margin improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
Trade Spending Analysis & Trade Terms Management:
• Track and analyze Gross to Net evolution and it’s commercial implications
• Support annual budget planning with a channel/ customer perspective, checking its effectiveness and efficiency
• Evaluate ROI for all trade activities, providing insights to trade term guideline
• Consolidate and verify customer contract terms
Promo Management:
• Manages price promo lever, defining its characteristics (trend, extension, depth, SKU) and spending efficiency
• Defines price promo budget allocation with a channel/ customer perspective
• Monitors the achievement of target objectives through price compliance tracking and effectiveness and efficiency evaluations cross channel/ customer
• Recommend optimizations of promotion investment and promotion mechanism
Business performance Management:
• Track actual sales performance and trade investment status on monthly basis
• Design and monitor Commercial performance dashboard with support from IT/ vendor
• Analyze business performance vs. past cycle and OP, highlight drivers and provide implications
• Support different routine meetings with GM and track action plan
Other tasks assigned by line manager or company
About You:
- Working experience in Revenue Management, Commercial Finance or Commercial Excellence in FMCG industry is necessary;
- Knowledge of Pricing, Sales Revenue, Trade spending, Trade Marketing, Sales and KA activity;
- Good and active in communication across departments
- Strong analytical thinking and storytelling; able to turn data into insights
- Strong proficiency in excel (pivot, power query, etc); PPT; PBI or other reporting tool
