About the Role:

If you are passionate about our brands and products and have a head for research and discovery, this role might interest you! As an Assistant Consumer Shopping Understanding Manager you will support business development by integrating and analyzing data from different internal and external sources and leading ad-hoc researches for channel / consumer/ shopper/ customer understanding, and analyze and conduct research to understand market and consumer behavior patterns to support business development. The role is aimed to contribute with insights on trends, projections, competitive performance drivers and drainers.

Main Responsibilities:

BRAND PARTNER IN ALL RELATED RESEARCH FUNNELS

  • Consumer insight: 
    • Conducts 360-degree brand audits and timely diagnoses by reviewing brands' key initiatives/activities based on multiple data sources including business performance data, GAT (BHT) tracking, social listening, ad-hoc projects. 
    • To support on Quali & Quanti creative copy validation (Quali + Quanti), provide actionable insight for campaign excellence. 
    • To support line Manager to design, manage, execute transversal research projects such as Censydiam, U&A, social listening.
  • Business intelligence:
    •  BI data insights, including market trend, competition, brand opportunity exploration, leveraging internal/ external tracking data and consumer behaviour data, etc.
    • Provide monthly deep-dive reports based on group standard reports to cater for brands’ particular needs / points of interest.
  • Innovation development:
    • To support innovation research funnel, including concept/ product test, taste test, STM and related operation process, pre-launch and after-launch reviews and evaluation, etc.
    • To support on market test (SPE) in offline and online channels to assess the NPD potential. To collect, check and analyse the market & consumers data and validate market test objective and result. 
    • Perform ad-hoc topic/trend analysis to support brands’ business needs and initiatives.

COORDINATE THE BUDGET MANAGEMENT AND DRIVE INTERNAL PROCESSES

  • Coordinate Agency pitch
  • Manager contract, PR/PO/GR processes
  • Provide monthly budget rolling and annual consolidation/ review 

Who we are looking for:

  • University degree, 3 years of relevant experience in market research function. 
  • Proficiency in project management experience and skills to market research.
  • Strong information integration, data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Experience in managing innovation and innovation funnel is a strong plus
  • High result orientation and strong sense of responsibility, ability to lead the change.
  • Quick learning ability, dynamism, proactiveness, drive for result
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin
