Senior Korea Country Brand Manager, Premium Chocolate & Nutella
About the Role:
Senior Country Brand Manager role leads the Premium Chocolate and Nutella portfolios in South Korea. This role holds full responsibility for shaping and delivering impactful brand strategies, driving sustainable growth, and strengthening brand equity across key categories. As part of the Korea leadership team, the position works closely with regional marketing teams and cross-functional partners to deliver integrated, high-impact marketing initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of annual brand plans across Premium Chocolate and Nutella
- Drive category growth through a comprehensive 360° marketing approach (ATL, BTL, and digital)
- Strengthen brand performance during key consumption moments and expand year-round opportunities
- Identify growth opportunities through data-driven insights and translate them into actionable plans
- Manage end-to-end portfolio development, including product launches and renovations
- Support new category expansion initiatives, including Food Service and innovation pipelines
- Ensure alignment of packaging and product strategies with global and regional guidelines
- Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, including media, digital, and activations
- Partner with agencies to execute communications, events, and social media strategies
- Lead consumer-centric initiatives to increase brand relevance and engagement
- Work closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution
- Collaborate with distributors and external partners to maximize market impact
- Represent the brand in internal forums and external stakeholder engagements
- Own and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and ROI delivery
- Track brand performance using market and consumer data (e.g., Nielsen, POS, panel data)
- Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to stakeholders
- Lead, coach, and develop a small team, building strong capabilities and engagement
- Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on collaboration and execution excellence
About You:
- University degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- Strong experience in brand management, ideally within FMCG
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end brand strategies and delivering business impact
- Experience working with distributors or multi-market structures is an advantage
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting market and consumer data, strategic thinking with strong execution focus
- Strong communication and influencing skills and excellent stakeholder management skills in complex, cross-functional and regional environments
- Agility and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, entrepreneurial mindset with problem-solving orientation
- Familiarity with data platforms, analytical systems and tools
- Fluency in Korean and English, both written and spoken
