About the Role:

The role is responsible for providing the full governance of the relevant market P&L, in particular pricing, trade spending, A&P and SG&A,  through independent analytical review/budgetary control. The role acts as a trusted finance business partner for the commercial team, taking initiatives for process optimization and actively involved in local decision-making. The role is a main finance point of contact with FAP Controlling for the Korean business unit.

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Full ownership of relevant market P&L: continuous identification of cost efficiencies/ optimization potentials, communicate with relevant stakeholders and execute the implementation

  • Support managers in Budget, Forecasts (SAFs) preparation and the related analysis and presentations, following Ferrero guidelines

  • Manage monthly closing and variance analysis, continuous monitoring of trade spending/A&P spending throughout the month

  • Review and release of purchase orders related to commercial spending including support to the sales team in managing trade spending budget

  • Prepare feasibility studies, new SKU simulations and manage ad hoc assignments to support the business

  • Act as a prime contact for Sales and Marketing department in Korea on a daily basis to provide timely support for making business decisions

  • Prepare and perform in SAP the annual standard cost update (or when required)

  • Maintain and update invoice price list in SAP for billing in accordance with approved pricing structure

  • Provide monthly management of STT/STD/Stock reporting shared with relevant stakeholders

  • Prepare session based reporting of Triple Net Price to HQ

  • Prepare SKU gross margin analysis to support local decision making

  • Assist and follow up on special HQ/Regional/Local projects

 

Who we are looking for:

 

  • University degree in Finance, professional qualifications are considered of a strong plus

  • Professional experience as controller/financial analyst in a commercial company, FMCG preferred

  • Strong business acumen, commercial and analytical mindset

  • High detail orientation, ability to multi-task, strong problem solving skills

  • Good interpersonal skills, flexibility, ability to work independently and under pressure

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of SAP and Hyperion Essbase is a plus

  • Fluency in Korean and English, both written and spoken
