Assistant Commercial Quality Manager, Korea

About the Role:

The Assistant Commercial Quality Manager plays a key role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and freshness for Ferrero in the Korean market. This position is responsible for implementing and monitoring quality initiatives, managing consumer services, and collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to drive continuous improvement in commercial operations, in alignment with the Ferrero food safety and quality policies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute and monitor quality and freshness programs in line with Ferrero Group policies
  • Oversee quality improvement activities related to commercial logistics, distribution, and consumer feedback
  • Coordinate product inspections and manage quality issues with warehouses and distributors
  • Work closely with distributor call centers to review and analyze complaint data
  • Own and manage the end-to-end process for consumer claims, focusing on product quality
  • Investigate and resolve both critical and non-critical consumer complaints, ensuring timely and effective responses
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain teams on warehouse and transport management
  • Monitor supply chain lead times and stock management for optimal freshness
  • Support new warehouse scouting and selection to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Report on quality performance and key metrics to the business unit
  • Promote and monitor quality KPIs, providing feedback for ongoing improvement
  • Act as a local reference for shelf-life optimization and harmonization
  • Participate in company-driven projects related to product quality, supply chain, and customer service systems

About You:

  • University degree in Food Science, Food Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in the food industry, with a strong background in quality management and complaint handling
  • In-depth knowledge of food production techniques and quality standards in Korea is required
  • Experience with warehouse assessment and consumer complaint management 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools, SAP is considered an advantage
  • Fluency in English and Korean, written and spoken
