About the Role:

You will be reporting to the Luxembourg Entities tax manager, working on Luxembourg and international topics, with an important exposure to many different aspects of tax law (direct and indirect).
Within the tax function, you will have the possibility to deal with internal (finance, legal, IT, supply chain, treasury) and external stakeholders (consultants, clients and suppliers), having the opportunity to apply the existing knowledge and develop new areas of expertise.

Main Responsibilities:

You will be responsible (in interaction with external consultants) for two different main topics : European VAT advisory and compliance Luxembourg related topics.

In the European VAT advisory and compliance topic, you will be responsible for multiple jurisdictions such as the definition of VAT treatment for existing and new flows; business partnership with internal and external stakeholders on VAT matters;  VAT and Intrastat returns review; VAT payments and tax cash management and management of the possible requests from VAT Authorities.

On the local side, you will work on corporate tax computation (budget and actual); management of withholding taxes; review of intercompany and third-parties’ agreements from a tax perspective; assessment of new legislations, domestic and international (e.g. CFC, DAC6, OECD Pillar I and II) and Transfer Pricing documentation preparation.

Who we are looking for:

You are the one we're looking for if you have a bachelor or master degree with focus in Finance, Accounting, Business or Tax Law; with 3/4 years of experience in European VAT, with some exposure to domestic Luxembourg tax - Tax law and accounting knowledge.
In addition to that, you will also need notions of Corporate law and practical knowledge of VAT concepts.
