About the Role:

For our HQs based in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Sugar Buyer for our Raw Material Procurement function.  
The role has the objective to guarantee the purchase of sugar in accordance with defined guidelines to ensure that the company’s operational needs are met, considering price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply running the purchase order with a set supplier base. 

Main Responsibilities:

By covering this position, you will support in defining Procurement strategy for the sugar category, based on business needs and help the Category Manager in the negotiation and in the definition of contracts. 

Moreover, you will contribute to the alignment between proper budget management and business objectives and manage the analysis of the commodity market index. 

You will collaborate with other functions in the definition of policies, quality criteria, legal, environmental, ethical to purchase and support timely information to the other functions concerning contract framework agreements.

Negotiating with suppliers, in alignment with internal procedures and the Ferrero Code of Business Conduct and ensuring the competition between suppliers and subcontractors even by organizing tenders will be also under your responsibility.  

On top of this, your role will be to apply and implement Procurement policies, vendor management and developing policies, based on technical, organizational, economical and international financial knowledge, to reach the best possible results according to Group requirements in terms of timing and flexibility. 

You will support purchase orders management, looks for Request for Proposals from vendors, proposing qualified and suitable alternatives while evaluating offers received while monitoring operative KPIs (service level, quality, etc.). 

Finally, you will maintain, consolidate and improve relationships with existing suppliers, to ensure continuity, manage criticalities and strengthen common objectives. 

Who we are looking for:

You will bring your educational background in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or other related fields with around 1-3 years of experience in Procurement. 

You are showing analytical, reporting and communication skills with a result-oriented approach. 
Fast learner, you are demonstrating strong negotiation skills with a knowledge of commodities market. 

On top of that, you will bring your knowledge of Microsoft Office/SAP and your fluency in English.
