About the Role:
For our HQs in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Verification and Audit Manager for our Responsible Sourcing team within the Procurement & HCo Function.
The role has the objective to manage the Verification and Audit activities according to the defined guidelines identified within the supplier management blueprint and the audit protocol. You will also ensure the periodical review and update of the audit protocol to incorporate any development of the norms and regulation as well as best practices in terms of human rights and environmental initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
By covering this position, you will prepare and update verification and audit budget according to identified needs. You will practice yearly verification and audit plan per each Category and stream of activity. The plan will be based on the frequency and coverage defined in the suppliers management blueprint and audit protocol.
You will launch and coordinate External Ethical auditors, monitor audits activities as well as their progress, robustness, and results.
Your role will be to prepare audit report and discuss it with Responsible Sourcing team and related Category function/buyers. Providing to Procurement recommendation for improvements, supporting the procurement Functions in the purchasing strategies, cooperating with Procurement in the update and negotiation of the Global Agreement with the external Ethical auditor will be also under your scope.
Moreover, you will coordinate remediation plan preparation where audits have taken place in accordance to audit results and present it for approval to Responsible Sourcing team and category counterparts.
You will include results of the audit in the category sourcing plan as an additional risk driver and discuss with category buyer potential de-listings.
On top of that, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing list of de-listed suppliers and blacklisted suppliers as a further element to develop the category sourcing plan.
Finally, you will drive the enhancement of the Audit platform for due diligence, traceability, standards and certifications and mitigation programs while performing the UAT of such enhancement and driving the maintenance of the audit plarform from business standpoint.
Who we are looking for:
You will bring your Master Degree in Engineering, Economics, or Mathematics combined with 2-5 years of experience in Audit.
You are demonstrating positive attitude to cooperate with internal and external stakeholder and to coordinate cross-functional teams (procurement, Legal, IT) with developed relational soft skills.
Moreover, you will contribute with your ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and your excellent communication and negotiation skills.
On top of this, you will bring your knowledge of Microsoft Office and your fluency in English.
