People Services Category Manager (One year Fixed-Term Contract)

About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQ based in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a People Services Category Manager to join our Procurement function for a duration of one year.

By covering this position, you will actively contribute to the definition of the strategy, manage the procurement activities, and support the budget process for the assigned category. 

Main Responsibilities:

You will contribute to defining the strategy for your assigned category, ensuring alignment with Group objectives and stakeholder priorities. You will work closely with regional procurement teams to implement strategies, harmonize processes, and maintain compliance with internal methodologies.

Moreover, you will manage supplier relationships, monitor performance through KPIs, and conduct spend analysis to optimize procurement activities. This includes sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and service level monitoring, while applying internal standards and tools.
You will also support risk evaluation, supplier registration, and vendor risk management to maintain continuity and compliance.

Your role will be to identify potential suppliers that meet quality and innovation requirements, conduct tenders in line with internal procedures, and collaborate on strategic negotiations.
Finally, you will ensure knowledge management for your category and contribute to maximizing value for the organization.

About You:

You will bring your educational background in Economics, Business Administration or other related fields with 6-10 years of experience in Procurement and expertise in Indirect Procurement.

Thanks to your strong communication and negotiation skills, you will interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders, anticipating and balancing their needs. You will bring enthusiasm and a result-oriented mindset, combined with analytical and problem-solving abilities to support strategic decisions.
Your ability to resolve conflicts and navigate uncertainty will help you deliver effectively, while maintaining alignment with the company’s ethical standards and values.

Last but not least, you will bring your proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and Ariba with your fluency in English.
