Sr. National Account Manager, Amazon - Seasonal and Summer Ship

The Senior National Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for Ferrero's Seasonal and Summer Ship portfolio on Amazon. The role owns annual planning, customer engagement, financial delivery, forecasting, and cross-functional execution to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
This position serves as the lead commercial owner for Amazon seasonal events, including Holiday, Valentine's Day, Easter, Halloween, and temperature-sensitive Summer Ship programs. The role partners closely with Amazon and internal stakeholders to optimize portfolio performance, manage seasonal inventory commitments, and ensure successful execution of key business initiatives.
This position is field-based with candidates ideally based in Seattle, WA.
Main Responsibilities:
Business Management & Financial Performance
- Own the annual business plan and portfolio strategy for the Seasonal and Summer Ship business.
- Deliver financial objectives including sales, volume, trade investment, profitability, and return on investment.
- Develop business cases and recommendations for promotional plans, assortment decisions, pricing actions, and strategic investments.
- Lead forecasting and performance reviews, identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
- Manage portfolio profitability and recommend actions to maximize growth and margin performance.
Customer Leadership & Commercial Execution
- Lead day-to-day commercial management of the Amazon Seasonal and Summer Ship portfolio.
- Build strong relationships with key Amazon stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and drive business results.
- Lead customer negotiations related to promotions, assortment, investments, and seasonal planning.
- Represent the portfolio within annual vendor negotiations and business planning processes.
Seasonal Planning & Forecast Management
- Lead end-to-end seasonal planning across key selling periods including Holiday, Valentine's Day, Easter, Halloween, and emerging occasions.
- Own seasonal forecasting, inventory planning, customer commitments, and sell-through performance.
- Partner with Amazon and internal teams to develop demand forecasts and manage inventory risks.
- Drive seasonal readiness by coordinating timelines, operational milestones, product setup, and launch execution.
- Develop strategies to optimize inventory management and minimize obsolescence or excess inventory.
Summer Ship Program Leadership
- Own the commercial strategy and execution of Amazon Summer Ship programs for temperature-sensitive products.
- Manage forecast accuracy, availability planning, and inventory deployment throughout the Summer Ship window.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Customer Logistics, and Amazon stakeholders to improve execution, service levels, and customer experience.
- Monitor and manage program performance, including product availability, returns, concessions, and fulfillment challenges.
Retail Media & Growth Initiatives
- Partner with Brand, Retail Media, and agency teams to develop portfolio media strategies.
- Support seasonal and event-based activation plans to drive traffic, conversion, and sales growth.
- Evaluate investment effectiveness and recommend optimization opportunities.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead alignment across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Customer Logistics, Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, and Analytics.
- Drive accountability and execution against critical business priorities.
- Serve as an Amazon subject matter expert within the organization.
- Coach and support the development of account managers and analysts when appropriate.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of commercial experience in National Account Management, eCommerce, Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, Finance, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience managing an Amazon 1P business.
- Demonstrated experience managing customer P&Ls and delivering sales and profit objectives.
- Experience leading customer negotiations and annual business planning processes.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with forecasting and business planning expertise.
- Knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central and relevant Amazon systems and tools.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.
- Strong communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.

The base compensation range for this position is $147,000.00 - $184,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
