Lean Manufacturing - Plant Performance Manager
About the Role:
We are currently looking for a Lean Manufacturing – Plant Performance Manager. By covering this position, you will manage line performance improvement through the management and promotion of Ferrero Operational Excellence and Smart Factory initiatives for our Sant’Angelo dei Lombardi (AV) and Caivano (NA) Plants.
Main Responsibilities:
By covering this role, you will manage the Ferrero Operational Excellence roll-out for the Plant, acting as a true change agent with a continuous improvement mindset. You will partner with Plant referents to define plans for Ferrero Operational Excellence initiatives and related training sessions, and you will lead or support the execution of these activities at the local level. One of your tasks will be to coach Plant referents on Ferrero Operational Excellence methodologies and their developments, leveraging the “train-the-trainer” concept to ensure full accountability for implementing performance improvement methodologies. You will also consolidate and report the progress of Plant initiatives, training sessions, and audits linked to Ferrero Operational Excellence.
You will also be responsible for managing the Smart Factory roll-out for the Plant. By covering this role, you will work closely with Plant referents to define deployment plans for Smart Factory initiatives and lead or support their execution locally. One of your tasks will be to monitor and consolidate the progress of Plant initiatives related to Smart Factory and report on their status to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
You will be accountable for managing the people within your area of responsibility, ensuring a management system based on Group values, motivation, competence development, and empowerment. By covering this role, you will promote proper communication and cascading through line managers to the teams.
About You:
You will bring a Master’s Degree in Engineering or a related field, combined with solid previous experience of 5 - 8 years in Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing activities.
As a strong communicator, your fluency in both Italian and English will be crucial to succeed in this role. Your profile will be completed by excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to guide heterogeneous groups of people.
Your availability to work at both Sant’Angelo dei Lombardi and Caivano Plants will be essential.
