About the Role:

1. Works in close partnership with the Area & Platform Leaders to shape and prioritize Business needs based on Business & IT Strategy
2.  Acts as a true Ambassador of the IT Strategy and the Target Architecture implementation in the China region
3.  Promotes local legacy solution decommissioning, minimize investment in local legacy solutions
 

Main Responsibilities:

IT STRATEGY / BUDGET
•    Contributes to the formulation of IT strategy, roadmap and budget of own functional area
DEMAND COLLECTION
•    Manages demand lifecycle by partnering with the business to identify strategic initiatives, aligned with the business objectives
•    Assesses demand priority level and feasibility (with high level business case when required)
DEMAND IMPLEMENTATION
•    Monitors demand implementation, related projects and demand closing, in collaboration with the Project Management
•    Provides contributions during the Business BluePrint design phase and verifies that requirements fits the scope defined in the demand management phase
•    Assesses, during the UAT phase, deliverables in order to check if they satisfy the Business BluePrint model 
•    Monitors the quality of the deliverables in the post-go-live
DEMAND ANALYSIS
•    Identifies and summarizes business requirements in collaboration with main business stakeholders
•    Builds business cases with clear benefits
•    Leads the development of functional design in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture & Centers of Excellence for application design
•    Identifies and analyzes the impact of services implementation on business processes
•    Analyzes and makes recommendations to improve business processes
PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT
•    Facilitates the dialogue between IT and business stakeholders, scoping initiatives and improving planning
•    Governs, assures and manages China region’s portfolio demand prioritisation process by which the business selects, prioritises and invests in projects and programmes during the year, and planning for subsequent years
•    Engages with IT project stakeholders during the demand-gathering phase to ensure meaningful and efficient debate on objectives, priorities and expectations
•    Oversees demand portfolio management, providing co-ordination, reporting and governance over the portfolio of programmes and projects across the region
•    Oversees the tracking of strategic portfolio risks / issues / dependencies, assess their impact on the portfolio and take action to minimize.
•    Continuously improves the portfolio management based on stakeholder feedback plus best practice principles and methodologies

Who we are looking for:

•    University degree in IT or related field is preferred
•    5+ years working experience in MNC on one of more of the following business operations & functions – IT Planning & Governance, IT Demand Management, IT Operations Management, Financial Accounting & Controlling, Business Process Engineering)
•    Working Knowledge in Cloud Computing & SaaS beneficial
•    Solid knowledge and business understanding of FMCG industry with demonstrated outcomes, achievements in digitalization & business process automation
•    Good communication skill to influence and build consensus with senior business partners
•    Stakeholder & Vendor coordination experience
•    Customer focus and ability for multitasking
•    Self-starter and drive for ongoing development
•    Advanced level of English, fluent in Chinese
