About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT CoE Sales Application Architect to join our Global IT organization and play a key role in the Delivery Center Americas, covering globally the sales applications, with focus on South America (Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador and Chile). Ferrero's IT organization is seeking an experienced and driven IT CoE Sales Application Architect to become a cornerstone of our Sales Center of Expertise for South America.
If you have deep expertise in SAP Sales environments, a solid command of Order-to-Cash processes, and the interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders across a complex multinational environment, this role offers a compelling opportunity to make a lasting mark on one of the world's most recognized FMCG companies.
This position reports to the IT CoE Sales Manager in Americas Delivery Center and to the IT South America Director, supporting the design, configuration, testing and continuous improvement of global Sales applications.
Main Responsibilities:
Sales Applications & Solution Design
Lead the design, evolution, and governance of Sales applications for the region. Define and validate solution options aligned with Ferrero's global IT architecture, and proactively identify opportunities to simplify, modernize, or consolidate systems and integrations.
Business Partnership & Demand Management
Act as a strategic technology partner to business stakeholders, regional demand managers, and global IT teams. Translate complex business requirements into actionable technology solutions, and contribute to shaping the long-term Sales application roadmap.
Project Delivery & Transformation
Lead and participate in regional and cross-country projects involving Sales applications and integrations. Coordinate solution design with project managers, external partners, and global CoE teams — from planning through deployment and stabilization.
Third-Level Support & Application Stability
Serve as the subject matter expert for complex incidents and critical issues. Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase solution reliability and service quality.
Localization & Regional Complexity Management
Ensure that Sales solutions meet regional market requirements, with particular attention to Brazilian localization and the broader complexity of South American operations. Act as the key technology focal point for country-specific Sales impacts in SAP S/4 Hana.
Integration, Data & Process Excellence
Oversee interfaces and data flows across Sales processes, from order capture to invoicing and downstream integrations. Champion best practices in documentation, testing, knowledge transfer, and governance.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Build strong partnerships with implementation partners, AMS providers, and third-party vendors. Evaluate technical proposals critically, challenge when necessary, and ensure quality delivery across all engagements.
About You:
Education
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, or related fields.
Experience
- Strong expertise in IT Sales, SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and Sales Force systems, Order to Cash process.
- Solid experience with Brazilian Localization (including J1BTAX, NF-e, tax reform models, tax calculation).
- Experience supporting localization in Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Ecuador is a strong plus.
- Background in FMCG, retail, or multinational environments is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of SAP SD and solid understanding of adjacent areas such as Brazilian Localization.
- Experience with Order-to-Cash, intercompany sales, order management, returns, pricing-related flows, and Sales-related integrations.
- Familiarity with EDI, data exchange, and CRM / SAP C4C / Sales Cloud related scenarios is a strong plus.
- Basic understanding of ABAP reading/debugging is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of testing, incident analysis, process documentation and solution governance.
Certifications (Nice-to-Have)
- PMP, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Azure, SAP Academy and Brazilian localization.
Languages
- Advanced English and Portuguese required.
- Spanish is a valuable plus.
