National Account Manager, Convenience - Emerging Markets

We have a current opening for a National Account Manager, Convenience - Emerging Markets and are actively reviewing applications.

 

As the National Account Manager, Convenience - Emerging Markets supporting Power Crunch®, you will take ownership of driving a sales plan that delivers category growth, sales, and profit for Ferrero’s expanding portfolio. Your work will directly influence the success of both existing and new products.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the Power Crunch® business, serving as the primary contact and building strong relationships with the respective sales teams.
  • Develop and execute strategies that grow the category and strengthen Ferrero’s presence in the market.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external partners, ensuring alignment and flawless execution of plans.

This position is remote, with candidates ideally based in the North East or New Jersey area.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Co-own end-to-end category strategy, execution and integration
  • Meet category revenue, volume, growth, profit and share targets
  • Meet category distribution, shelving, pricing, and merchandising goals
  • Align customer initiatives to Ferrero strategic enablers to drive meaningful JBP process.
  • Manage the relationship with National Account Managers and execute formalized, value-added engagement plan with established feedback loop to act on customer’s input
  • Work collaboratively to develop innovative and insightful content to drive category growth
  • Manage trade budgets judiciously to drive demand in the category
  • Develop accurate SKU-level forecasts each month based on expected everyday demand and promotions
  • Develop promotional plans with key Account Managers
  • Develop customer specific plans working collaboratively with Trade Marketing, Category Management, Revenue Growth Management and Finance
  • Identify medium and long-term business opportunities within Convenience channel and work cross-functionally to execute and capture the opportunities
  • Achieve KPI’s to contribute to total Sales Group KPI attainment
  • Drive accountability and results with Broker partner at all levels

About You:

  • At least 8 years of Sales, Account Management, Merchandising, and/or Category Management experience is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, M.B.A is preferred
  • Broker Experience required
  • Convenience Channel experience preferred
  • Interpersonal skills to interface effectively with the necessary internal and external stakeholders
  • Strategic and proactive thinking to develop sales strategies and translate them into distribution, shelving, pricing and merchandising objectives
  • Management presentation competencies to effectively present key insights in front of internal and external stakeholders
  • Global mindset and desire to build a successful career with a growing global company

Compensation Data

The base salary range for this position is $108,000 - $135,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
