About the Role:
Individual contributor role to manage Region Supply Chain procurement (Warehouse & Distribution, Pallets): Contribute to the definition and preparation of the Region Supply Chain Procurement Strategic Plan (PS3, PS5), Budget and SAF; define Region Supply Chain Procurement mid-term activity plan to support at the Region level the Function and Region Strategy and Projects; manage spend analysis, supplier scouting, development and tender, contracting, negotiation, supplier relationship, supplier risk analysis in compliance with the Group policy, ensuring transparent and controlled purchasing activities. Guarantee a Route to Market in line with SC requirements and enforcing the guidelines of SC procurement. To perform spend analysis, category management, sourcing strategies and scouting that need to be compliant to long term sourcing strategic plans and in line with group targets to accomplish corporate profit and growth. Main focus on Sustainable Supply chain in terms of warehouse & transportation. Manage contracts of all the suppliers in the Icertis tool. Well versed with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Ariba, S4Hana
Main Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning
Contribute to define, discuss and agree with the category leader a long-term sourcing strategic plan to sustain region business and function development, identify capability improvements needed and set-up main targets.
Propose, discuss and agree with his category leader and regional Supply Chain manager mid/long term strategic plan (PS5) and budget process for the category, analyzing supply and demand market and fixing targets in order to optimize service level, minimize purchasing costs and business risk.
Continuous market intelligence to be constantly update on main market/macroeconomics trends
Strategic Sourcing /Scouting and negotiation
Propose and implement for the logistics categories of his responsibility processes, approaches and methodologies to perform spend analysis (by category/supplier/geography) based on structured cost modelling, setting specific targets and KPIs (in line with global Supply Chain and Global Supply Chain Procurement strategies).
Ensure the development of suppliers “long list” and decision matrix for supplier selection (supplier scouting and screening).
Conduct fact-based negotiations and tenders according to defined, assessed category strategies.
Create for the logistics categories of his/her responsibility market reports containing certified financial figures, market and commodity outlook and trends, supplier portfolio management highlights.
Preparing detailed documentation for Long Term Contract approval
Supplier relationship management
Define the level of engagement/collaboration with suppliers for the logistics categories of his responsibility based on market and benchmarking fact-based analysis, measurable KPIs in order to ensure competitive advantages, grant quality and service level and govern and minimize risks. Propose eventual corrective actions according to continuous improvement programs.
Lead the proposal creation of framework agreements, terms and conditions, contracts for the logistics categories of his responsibility, containing price indications and coverage, KPIs, cost structure, etc., anyway in compliance with company targets, in order to bring the highest value to the Group in collaboration with Supply Chain, Quality, Legal, Finance and other related functions.
Risk management
Define risk reduction program on the region level
Implement risk management strategy for the local procurement, embedding critical verifications like Vendor Financial Assessment (VFA)
Communicate any significant supplier risk outlining the potential impacts, defining consistent action plans and sharing them with the key stakeholders.
Contract & Vendor Management
Map out all Supplier contract, to be updated with latest contract status
Stakeholder Management
Identify and engage key stakeholders within the business and ensure that the Supply Chain Procurement function is meeting their expectations, in line with business process.
Supplier Management - Performance & Reporting
Quarterly/Yearly - Monitor and reporting of KPI performance (top 10 Suppliers) - in order to guarantee the reliability of supply in terms of quality, delivery time and volumes.
Monthly monitoring of Actual cost vs Budget/SAF
KPIs Reporting
High involvement in Group’s Responsible Sourcing (ReSo) agenda through measuring supplier’s sustainability rating and improvement actions
Who we are looking for:
EDUCATION
Graduate with 10 -15 years of experience
SPECIFIC KNOWLEGE (if required)
