About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of Trade Solutions and technical components that effectively support business objectives. The role partners closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned with Ferrero's strategic priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes. The successful candidate will manage assigned project streams, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment, and adherence to program milestones. They will proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects or performance issues, while maintaining a strong understanding of business drivers and operational needs. The position involves overseeing the full application lifecycle, from implementation through enhancement and eventual retirement, ensuring long-term sustainability and value. Additionally, the role serves as a trusted technical advisor, collaborating with external partners and Run teams to ensure applications and supporting systems remain stable, efficient, and fully functional.
Main Responsibilities:
FUNCTIONAL & TECHNICAL DESIGN
- Manages application/technical architecture components design (including enhancements) and makes sure they comply with the enterprise architecture and meet business needs
- Supports bringing new services into live by analyzing functional/non-functional requirements, developing technical architecture options and recommendations
- Establishes time schedules with Operations and partners/3rd parties to implement the required technologies, skills and procedures
- Supervises impact analyzes of any upgrade with regards to technical aspects and data, and facilitates smooth transition from existing version to the new version
- Manages application/technical components lifecycle, from development and configuration to maintenance
- Manages any data migration exercise and ensures data consistency
- Manages the decommissioning of redundant applications/hardware/infrastructure aligned with roadmap
- Works with Service Lead and Service Management to support achievement of Service level targets
CONFIGURATION
- Prepares and implements Deployment/Configuration Designs
- Maintains up-to-date inventory, asset and configuration information
TESTING
- Lead testing efforts for large and complex applications/technical architecture components
- Create test plans and schedules
- Create and implement test cases on project requirements
- Report defects and escalate issues
- Interact with team throughout development process
- Troubleshoot new builds and post production issues
- Follow and analyze issues gathered in bug tracking system
- Edit and support solution documentation
- Review reports for accuracy and determine discrepancies
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Manages the delivery of the application/technical architecture component solutions (improvements, enhancement, upgrades) to ensure alignment to demand requirements and Service Level Agreements targets, while maintaining coherence within the overall architecture
SERVICE MANAGEMENT
- Is responsible for level 3 support.
- Ensures any issues related to applications, interfaces or infrastructure performance and availability is solved as per the agreed Service Level Agreements
- Manages incidents and problems (level 3 support)
About You:
We are looking for a Trade Promotion Management professional with 4-5 years of hands-on experience, preferably within the FMCG/Consumer Goods industry and exposure to international business environments.
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree is an added advantage) and strong expertise in trade promotion, customer planning, forecasting, and related SAP TPM applications.
A solid understanding of business processes, commercial operations, and multi-application planning and execution environments is essential.
The role requires strong project management capabilities in an IT-driven environment, along with experience supporting multi-level helpdesk operations.
Candidates should be highly analytical, proficient in Excel, and comfortable working with data to drive business decisions and process improvements.
