About the Role:
This role is responsible for driving actions & generating Consumers and Market Insights for India Region. This is an important Region for Ferrero and is the center for tropical innovations for the company. The portfolio encompasses several categories within Sweet Packaged Foods making this an exciting and challenging opportunity. The role focuses on driving business growth and influencing decisions backed by actionable consumer and market insights. The role requires to lead and manage innovations, to bring in business intelligence and consumer insights.
Main Responsibilities:
- Be the voice of the consumer within the organization continuously driving consumer and customer understanding
- Lead end-to-end research funnel for the biggest contributing brand portfolio of the company. This includes partnering new innovations and succeeding with the current portfolio
- Continuously provide a solid understanding of structural category drivers, drainers, triggers, and barriers to help build a strong business
- Bring outside-in inspiration into the business. Continuously monitor competition, leverage social listening, and develop strong understanding of competition strategies across all elements of marketing mix
- Deliver insights on macroeconomic, market, channel, consumer trends and nurture business intelligence
- Co-build brand positioning and help bring them to life together with marketing teams
- Drive consumer centricity in innovation. Understand consumer food trends, unmet needs, sources of business, and implications on innovation
- Identify new data sources, tools to strengthen consumer and market understanding
- Partner Strategic Initiatives across brands
- Build and strengthen Shopper and Retail understanding across brands and channel
- Drive the business agenda of E-comm and Digital growth across brands by bringing in knowledge of market and consumer trends
- Support APAC MEA Area business on Cross Country projects
- Bring efficiency and agility in every day team functioning to allow time for value adding projects and tasks
- Support the digital transformation agenda of the company. Fully automate and digitize insights generation and drive business dashboards
- Embed and strengthen Ferrero CSU quality standards
Who we are looking for:
- Approximately 8-10 years of experience in a major FMCG company in the insights function or in a reputed research agency
- Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university; MBA in Marketing/Research
- Should have experience of using different consumer and shopper key research methodologies, Brand tracking, Nielsen Retail Audit tool; knowledge on e-comm and digital led growth and transformation will be preferrable
- Strong communication, presentation and strategic influencing skill. Ability to manage conflicts and influence business decisions backed by insights
- Strong managerial, leadership and people management skills
- Good at integrating multiple sources and telling a story
- Strong business sense, strategic and foresight thinking (limited to not only data or database expert and method oriented).
- Sound attention for details without losing focus on big picture
- Takes initiative with a “can do” attitude. Resilient, self-motivated and passionate
- Possession of highest personal integrity and standards
- Have a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams and in matrix organizations
