About the Role:

This is a new role created as a part of Asia IT Delivery Center expansion plan and the role is based out of Pune (Ferrero India HO). 
This role owns the Ferrero’s Group IT applications portfolio in the Supply Chain area to enable business users to fulfill their business demands supported by IT applications. 
This role will cover in close partnership with the Global IT organization (Platform and Delivery Center) to effectively deploy and support IT applications to the business community in accordance with the IT Global Architecture
 

Main Responsibilities:

APPLICATION STRATEGY

  • Leads architecture for assigned capabilities, identifies improvements or consolidation opportunities
  • Proactively provides recommendations to support IT strategy 
  • Works with Platform and COE Leader to understand the impact of demands and changes (e.g., from the business strategy) on the applications and their cost (feasibility studies and business cases)
  • Contributes to Enterprise Application Architecture
  • Manages architecture in his/her own application function, identifies improvements or consolidation for applications aligned with Enterprise Application Architecture
  • Proactively provides recommendations on applications to support IT Strategy (e.g., software packages, SaaS) in accordance with the IT Global Architecture
  • Assess the budget related to the integration of new applications
  • Works closely with the business partners and multiple IT teams to ensure Applications are available, supported, and maintained in accordance to business requirements, aligned with Enterprise Application Architecture and supported by the Global IT Services.

APPLICATION LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT

  • Defines major aspects of application architecture
  • Make sure that the development and implementation standards of the solutions, the security updates, and the release of developments on production systems are in alignment with the rules of the Enterprise Application Architecture
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on his/her own application landscape
  • Performs the application design (including enhancements), in relationship with Platform leader (functional design) in accordance with the IT Global Architecture and meet business needs
  • Contributes to technical upgrades (adaptive maintenance) 
  • Performs any data migration exercise between applications as required and ensures data consistency
  • Troubleshoots applications issues and involves appropriate teams (business and Global IT) to provide a solution in adequate time according to agreed SLAs with business and Global Service Management Team.

Project Management

  • Analyzes application requirements for IT projects when requested by an IT Business Partner(s), based on business requirements  
  • Executes application projects task related to major demands or functional evolution (> or = to 100 K€) with the Platforms PM.
  • Leads application projects related to minor demands (< 100 K€)

Vendor Management

  • Maintains constructive relationships with suppliers to allow effective and productive evaluation of vendor offerings against business requirements, constraints, and priorities.
  • Contributes to supplier’s evaluation and selection exercise

Resource Management

  • Is accountable for managing people assigned, ensuring a management system based on Group values, motivation, competence development and empowerment
  • Promote the proper communication and cascading through the line managers to the teams  
  • Recruits, manages, motivates, coaches and develops own team.
  • Guarantees Human Resources professional development, evaluating people and proposing development initiatives 
  • Ensuring effective management of the assigned resources by defining and agreeing a plan of activities with them and also taking care of the aspect of professional growth (in collaboration with the managers of the various external resources);
  • Supervise external consultants in collaboration with the Project Managers and their COE Manager, ensuring that they provide the expected contribution to achieve the set objectives.

Who we are looking for:

EDUCATION 
Graduation + Post Graduation (Preferably in Supply Chain) with 7 – 15 years of experience 
SPECIFIC KNOWLEGE (if required)
Domain Expert in Supply Chain preferably in Consumer Goods Industry with International experience
General Requirements:

  • Availability for minimal travel.
  • Working experience in Multination Groups in Consumer Goods Industry Companies with Central IT HQ/Service Companies.
  • Experience in big IT transformation project
  • Technical and Functional Skills Required:
  • Extensive knowledge of Logistic Business processes is required and specifically concrete experience in SAP modules: MM-IM, SAP WM and SAP EWM. (Mandatory)
  • Knowledge of Logistic Business processes with focus on Transportation management is required and specifically experience in SAP modules: LE-TRA and/or in other TMS environments. (Mandatory)
  • Integration experience with EDI integration (to external logistic operators), Industrial production (SAP PP-PI), Material Management (SAP MM) and Sales & Distribution (SAP SD) are appreciated. (Mandatory)
  • Process knowledge in Industrial and Distributive Planning areas and specifically on the SAP APO processes implementation (it will be considered a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of ABAP Development and Technical SAP features (it will be considered a plus).
