International Graduate Program - Engineering Process Specialist

About the Role:

This is your chance to join us with a 3-Year Structured Graduate Program designed to develop talents across one or more European countries, for those seeking an international career in Operations.

PROGRAM ASSIGNMENTS

As part of our Graduate Program, you will have the opportunity to gain international and cross-functional experience through two structured assignments:

  1. First Assignment (1 year): You will take on the role of Engineering Process Specialist within the Engineering function in Stadtallendorf, Germany.
  2. Second Assignment (2 years): You will take on the role of Shift Maintenance Leader within the Industrial function in Stadtallendorf, Germany. 
After completing the program, you’ll have the opportunity to join us in Italy as part of our Industrial Function!
This program is designed to accelerate your development, broaden your expertise, and prepare you for future challenging roles within Operations.

Main Responsibilities:

1st Assignment: Engineering Process Specialist in Stadtallendorf, Germany.

In this position, you will take an active role in managing industrial projects from design to execution. You will define specifications for design, process, and automation, ensuring compliance with Ferrero’s global standards and guidelines. You’ll support project implementation, monitor timelines, costs, and risks, and coordinate specialized resources during installation and commissioning phases. Your responsibilities will also include managing preliminary project activities, validating proposals, and collaborating with Purchasing and Maintenance teams to align quotations and solve complex technical issues.

Beyond execution, you will contribute to continuous improvement by identifying ideas for optimization and efficiency, manage relationships with external suppliers, and cooperate with Technical Sourcing for supplier scouting and offers. 

About You:

You will bring your Master’s degree (MSc, 5 years of studies) in Mechanical, Industrial or Automation Engineering or related field, with an excellent academic record, achieved within maximum 12 months.
As a great communicator, fluency in English and Italian will be essential to cover this position, along with a good foundation in German. Proficiency in MS Office tools and experience with a statistical forecasting tool will also be highly valued.
