About the Role:

As the Sr. National Account Manager for Albertsons/Jewel, you will take the lead in shaping and executing a strategic retail sales plan for ABSCO, driving both sales and profit growth across Ferrero’s existing and emerging product portfolio. You’ll be the key point of contact for the Albertsons Key Account Buyer, building and nurturing a strong business relationship that fuels mutual success. You’ll report directly to the Albertsons Sales Director, collaborating closely to align on goals and deliver results.

 

This position reports to the Albertsons Sales Director and is remote, with candidates ideally based in Boise, ID, the West Coast or Pacific Northwest.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end category strategy, execution and integration across Albertsons and it’s Divisions
  • Meet Albertsons category revenue, volume, growth, profit and share targets
  • Meet Albertsons category distribution, shelving, pricing, and merchandising goals
  • Provide category input during Joint Business Planning process
  • Support execution against strategic initiatives and commitments at Albertsons
  • Own relationship with Albertsons category buyer and execute formalized, value-added engagement plan with established feedback loop to act on customer input
  • Work collaboratively to develop innovative and insightful content to drive category growth
  • Manage trade budgets judiciously to drive demand at Albertsons
  • Identify medium and long-term business opportunities at Albertsons
  • Develop accurate SKU-level forecasts each month based on expected demand, seasons, and promotions
  • Provide monthly and year-out forecasts to Replenishment Analyst
  • Own forecast accuracy for Albertsons with feedback loop for constant improvement
  • Develop and execute promotional plans at Albertsons and conduct post-promotional analysis (ROI)

Who we are looking for:

  • At least 7 years of Sales/Account Management (Albertsons/Jewel) specific experience is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, M.B.A is preferred
  • Interpersonal skills to interface effectively with the necessary internal and external stakeholders
  • Strategic and proactive thinking to develop sales strategies and translate them into distribution, shelving, pricing and merchandising objectives
  • Strong data analysis to review performance in category and develop strategies to close gaps, increase sales, etc.
  • Management presentation competencies to effectively present key insights in front of internal and external stakeholders
  • Global mindset and desire to build a successful career with a growing global company

Compensation Data

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $175,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
