Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will report to the Financial Reporting and Accounting Manager and will sit in our Parsippany, N.J. headquarters.  This person will ensure the proper setup, validity and compliance of reporting in according with Group policies, GRC initiatives, and IFRS principles. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage the Financial Reporting of the Company to ensure that Financial reporting controls (governance) is in line with Group policies and the Hyperion system is accurate and valid.
  • Reconciliation of local SAP level to the Hyperion (IFRS) system to understand differences, correct differences where applicable and ensure integrity of the information
  • Work with Group reporting to share information and have the ability to answer questions and provide the necessary detail where applicable.
  • Safeguard Company assets with fiscal control systems and processes.
  • Ensure compliance of accounting processes to ensure local laws and group policies are followed
  • Prepare financial statements under US GAAP and ensure integrity of the financial information.
  • Analyze the balance sheet accounts in line with Group policy to ensure the values are current and valid.
  • Support the department to review and improve processes and to ensure timely month end and year end closures.
  • Support the department to ensure external auditors receive the required information
  • Ensures the deployment of Group internal audit rules (at local level), included in the GRC program (Governance Risk Compliance), as well as assures the compliance with legal constraints in order to safeguard Company assets and avoid dishonest behaviors.
  • Review of indirect taxes such as sales tax, used tax to ensure Company obligations are being met.
  • Work with tax consultant to ensure proper information is submitted and Corporate taxes are completed timely and appropriately

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or similar field
  • CPA is required
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically Excel and ERP experience, SAP and HFM experience is preferred
  • Experience with both internal and external audits
  • Ability to enforce administrative financial controls, policies and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
