Revenue Growth Planner

As a Revenue Growth Planner, you will develop everyday pricing guidelines informed by brand strategy and data‑driven price analysis. You’ll also shape promotional pricing guidelines by evaluating the effectiveness of trade spend investments.

 

You will track and monitor compliance with pricing and promotional guidelines while proactively identifying opportunities to drive value through positive portfolio mix management. Leveraging insights and analytics, you’ll make recommendations that support stronger revenue performance and pricing discipline across the business.

 

The position will be hybrid based in our US Headquarters in Parsippany, NJ, and report to the Director of Revenue Growth Management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop (with trade marketing) the everyday price guidelines by brand and pack type including internal relative price indexes, the price pack curves, and price indexes vs. competition
  • Drive the price increase plans for each category including alignment to price guidelines and determining the next logical price point
  • Develop the price increase sell-in material for the sales team to negotiate the price increase with the customer
  • Lead analytics on pricing for the Ferrero brand portfolio / channels and key accounts
  • Manage price increase model to understand price increase scenarios and impacts to the P&L, price curves, and relative pricing
  • Manage master price list and work with Trade Promotion Management to ensure prices and promotions are accurately inputted into the system so we can track effectively
  • Maintain promo effectiveness scorecards, lead preparation for promo effectiveness reviews with Trade Marketing / Cat Man / Sales
  • Work with Trade Marketing / Finance / Sales Business Development to price new products
  • Track and develop plans to generate value through mix management including leveraging trade up, identifying and addressing low margin SKUs, and driving mix into high margin SKUs
  • Facilitate strategic alignment with Trade Marketing and Sales to ensure pricing and mix guidelines and objectives are included in the Go to Market plans
  • Develop a strong understanding of the IRI/Circana data to help predict, track, and react to pricing trends in the category
  • Develop and maintain a positive, productive relationship with trade marketing, field sales, and brand team stakeholders
  • Support a high achieving Trade Business Intelligence Team capable of sustaining the company’s profitability, goals, and vision
  • Take on a subject matter expert role for key data tools (i.e. IRI/Circana, P&L, RGM Tools) to help assist other team members

 

Developmental Opportunities:

About You:

  • 1-3+ years relevant experience required, CPG Foods experience is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
  • Syndicated data experience (IRI/Circana or Nielsen) where candidate has pulled their own data
  • Financial acumen and P&L management with an understanding of the need for rigor regarding spending choices and the importance of ROI
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex sets of data and make business recommendations based on analysis
  • Must possess a basic knowledge of project/program management concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to build consensus and foster positive relationships
  • Capacity to solve problems through creative, innovative solutions and challenge traditional methods of accomplishing tasks and removing obstacles
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and in a variety of cultures
  • Ability to creatively organize and present data in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work well cross-functionally
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to convince, influence, and motivate all levels within the business to achieve objectives

Compensation Data

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $112,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
