About the Role:
We are looking for a Raw Material Food Safety & Quality Documentation Specialist to join our growing team in Parsippany.
Main Responsibilities:
• Serve as RM FSQ lead for NAM innovation projects (30+ annual projects)
• Attend innovation project meetings, coordinate RM FSQ activities
• Connect with new suppliers in Devex, hold meetings with suppliers as needed for portal support
• Coordinate timely status of FSQ activities including opening of Q-info to project team to meet trial deadline
• Review and approve Quality portion of the Ferrero supplier questionnaire for all new suppliers on-boarded onto Devex portal
• Re-send new Ferrero questionnaires every 2-years or if specification is updated before 2-years. Currently 400+ raw material codes for NAM business; 300+ suppliers
• Create quality inspection plan for new Ferrero raw material supplier specifications
• Serve as back-up to perform audit of suppliers (on-site, remote, or documental)
• Support 8 Ferrero North America plants with supplier food safety & quality documentation needs
Who we are looking for:
• Undergraduate degree in Food Science, Biology, or related sciences required, Master’s degree preferred
• 3+ years’ experience in the food industry in Quality or Food Safety function
• Experience with raw material quality management and/or supplier management
• Knowledge of GFSI standards mandatory
• Knowledge of FSMA / FSVP and raw material supplier risk assessment, PCQI certification preferred
• Able to interact professionally internally and externally in a multi-cultural environment
• Experience with SAP, MS Office, etc.
